Pocket Wheels is about the childhood dream of imagining adventures with your toys inside the house. It's a 3d platformer and racing game crossover, inspired by 90s collectathons. You play as a toy car with various abilities like jumping, gliding, and even a grappling hook. There are various vehicles that you can purchase with coins in the toy garage. Coins are collected in one of the many rooms inside the fully explorable house. Every room has a different theme with various race tracks, objectives and collectibles.

Use your jump ability to complete various objectives or extend your wings to get off the track and explore the different rooms. There's even a grappling hook to get around in style!

For a small car, everyday objects can be a great challenge. AR glasses can give a new view on a room and unravel various new obstacles and objectives. And you should definitely watch out for the roomba..

As a solo developer I'm reliant on your feedback, so I'm very open about the development. I share regular updates about new things that I'm working on. Your game starts at 13:30. Fantastic work! The world was fun to explore, very creative and easy to navigate. Challenges were satisfying to complete as they were not too easy but not frustrating either. The cars for purchase were not expensive so grinding for coins wasn't necessary which was appreciated and they were funny and cool choices.  Having turbo, wings, and jump abilities are excellent additions. Controls were responsive, vehicles handled well and we encountered not bugs. We weren't ready for the demo end!

Thank you so much for playing! I just watched it and I'm glad you liked it! :D

man this is amazing, lots of potential

It was just this morning that I was wondering why all car games are kinda sluggish in terms of control, but you proved me wrong!

This was a blast!
I really enjoyed how the car controlled. Took me a second to realize I could boost while gliding to essentially fly around the room, but I couldn't stop once I'd figured it out! Really a ton of fun!
The art style is great, too, reminds of of Katamari Damacy! I especially like the slight squash and stretch on the cars themselves when you jump, really cute touch!
Looking forward to seeing more from this project!

Thank you so much, feedback like this means a lot! It was very important for me to get driving/flying right. And there's definitely a lot to look forward to!

I like the style. The car physics is good and thats really important. I missing some camera mode change option (more lazy or strict moving, other distances from the car) The actual camera movement felt like a bit nervous for my taste. It felt like hard to keep the car in a straight line. (playing with XOne controller)

And yea... I hope you will add races against an AI or something, because this project have potential :)

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you like the car physics as this is what took most of the time. And I agree, the camera is definitely something I could improve.

There won't be classic races against ai, but there are some other things planned for the full game. :)
